Local College Flood

It was a normal Friday at the local college, classes were almost finished for the day and faculty was getting ready to head home. One of the maintenance men noticed a pump from the water tank was showing low pressure and as a back up two more pumps came online to make up the difference. What was happening? A pipe burst inside of a maintenance room of the science building. Unfortunately the door were closed and the room began to fill with water until it reached approximately 6-7ft and a wall gave way releasing over 10,000 gallons of water into the 1st floor of the building. The fast acting faculty immediately got the pumps turned off and called SERVPRO Daytona Beach. Within an hour SERVPRO was on site and extracting water and by Monday just three days later the school was able to hold some classes in the building and by Friday the entire floor was open again. SERVPRO Daytona Beach is the #1 trusted restoration company in Volusia County and trusted by more local businesses than anyone else.
